Otronix Co., Ltd.(“Otronix”) manufactured and delivered two 10 meter large buoys.
Otornix, the leading operator of the 10m offshore meteorological observation buoy introduction project of the Korea Meteorological Industry and Technology Institute, completed the two buoys in early November after about five months of production and testing.
10 meter buoys consist of major observation elements such as wind direction, wind speed, temperature and humidity, air pressure, wave height, wave direction, and visible distance, and are equipped with video cameras such as 360-degree camera and high definition CCTV. Inmarsat and Iridium satellite communications are used as main communication equipment as they are installed in the sea far west.
We hope that the buoys delivered will greatly contribute to the forecast of marine weather.
